✔️ How do I open the .sto file?

Well you don't. You want drag and drop the .sto file from your Downloads folder into the correct car folder in your; Documents > iRacing > Setups   Fodler.

✔️ Where to put all these files?

If you got a Driver or Elite seup package it will come with a few files...

The .sto is the actual setup file and should have at least one Race (R) and one Qualifying (Q) set in the package. You want drag and drop thos .sto files from your Downloads folder into the correct car folder in your; Documents > iRacing > Setups   Fodler.

The .olap or .blap file is a "lapfile" and allows you to Ghost Race against the Crew Chief who build the setup while you are in offline testing. You put these files in the correct track lapfile folder. Documents > iRacing > lapfiles

The .ibt file is the telemetry file and allows you to compare you exact inputs (throttle, brake and steering) against the inputs of the Crew Chief who built the setup. (Telemetry Tutorial) You put these in the telemetry folder; Documents > iRacing > telemetry

✔️ What is the difference between a Baseline+, Driver and Elite Setups?

The Baseline+ setup is typically a slightly faster, more stable, more comfortable version of the iRacing default setup. The Baseline+ option only comes with a race setup.

The Driver setup has more speed than the Baseline+ and includes a Qualifying setup, ghost lap files and telemetry. Driver setup packs are $3 each or come included with monthly subscriptions (best value).

Elite setups are the fastest setups our crew chiefs can build, depending on your driving style and ability these sets may be very on edge, but they are fast. These packages also include qualifying sets, ghost lap files and telemetry. Elite pricing is variable and Elite sets are not always available.

✔️ How do I use the telemetry?

The telemetry files we provide with our Driver and Elite sets are meant to be imported into a Telemetry software and from there you can analyze the crew chiefs inputs or you can directly compare their inputs directly against your own.

Using the telemetry files in this way is arguably the fastest and best way to improve.

We recommend the Z1 analyzer for reading telemetry. It is a great tool and offers a fully functional demo. Here is a guide to get started

✔️ What are the .olap files for?

The .olap (or .blap) files are called "lapfiles" in iRacing. These files allow you to Ghost Race against our crew chiefs in offline testing mode. By ghosting another driver you can watch through your visor exactly how they take corner, when they brake, etc. Here is a guide to get started

✔️ How do I get help from a person?

If the FAQ did not answer your question(s) you can reach us a few ways, but we HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend using the Majors Garage Discord for the fastest assistance. The Discord also gives you direct access to the crew chiefs for question and answer.

If you insist on not using Discord, you can email us at info@majorsgarage.com or you can start up a Facebook Messenger Chat. Please understand that the response time of those two option will very likely be slower.

✔️ I have a subscription and the setup I want still says $3?

When looking at setup page you will see a "Membership" dropdown menu. If you are a subscriber, you will see at least three options.

1. Subscription Name
2. Baseline+
3. Driver

You want to select the 1st option as that will give you the Driver setup download, but for free.

If you are a subscriber and you only see  the Baseline+ and Driver options then please make sure you are logged into your account. If you are logged in, but don't see your subscription option, please contact us on the Discord.

✔️ I want to change or cancel my subscription.

From your account page, select the "Manage Subscriptions" link. From there you can modify or cancel a subscription.

✔️ I would like to get your free setups, but I don’t want to give you any of my information.

You don't have to... you can get all our Baseline+ setups each week by downloading  a .zip from from the Garage Discord Server. These are typically available by Tuesday each week.

If you would like the setups earlier then yes, you will need to create an account on majorsgarage.com (hey, you're here!). When creating an account all we really need is your name and an email address. (we send you a download link for any setup you get).

✔️ Do you really offer FREE setups?

Yes, our Baseline+ setups are 100% free. Many people have commented that the iRacing default setups have improved, and they really have. Even still, our FREE Baseline+ setups are faster and more comfortable than those default setups. You have nothing to lose by trying out the setups.

✔️ Can I put Majors Garage logos on my car?

YES! Our logos are below and you can use them on any paint schemes, we truly appreciate it.
